Hayden community members oppose Woodman Subdivision citing infrastructure and environmental concerns

The Hayden Planning and Zoning Committee meeting held on July 7, 2025, highlighted significant community concerns regarding the proposed Woodman Subdivision. He urged the committee to consider the long-term implications of development, advocating for a 100-foot forested buffer, reduced density, and permanent conservation easements to protect the community's natural beauty and quality of life.

Carson Rasmussen, another resident, echoed these sentiments, expressing her opposition to the subdivision based on its potential to compromise the community's integrity and safety. She highlighted existing infrastructure issues in Hayden Canyon, including drainage problems, which could be exacerbated by increased development.
