With 15,127 candidates taking the exam from Texas programs, an impressive 13,788 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 91.15%. This marks the highest rate since 2019 and indicates a steady increase in candidate numbers, particularly following the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting revealed that 17 nursing programs achieved a perfect pass rate, while 83 programs surpassed the 90% mark, showcasing the effectiveness of nursing education in Texas. Notably, the associate degree programs had a pass rate of 90.71%, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs reached 98.41%. The introduction of master's entry-level programs also showed promise, with a combined pass rate of 95.71%.
