Federal Way City Council seeks grant for freeway litter cleanup program

The Federal Way Land Use and Transportation Committee convened on July 8, 2025, to discuss several key initiatives aimed at enhancing community services and infrastructure. The city plans to apply for a competitive grant from the Washington Department of Ecology, with a maximum award of $60,000. This initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the city, building on previous successful cleanup efforts.
