Bonner County allocates $325K for claims and approves $4.4K grant for justice conference

Bonner County residents will soon see a significant investment in local education and community services following the Bonner County Board of Commissioners meeting on July 8, 2025. The board approved a claims batch totaling $325,904.69, which includes essential funding for dust abatement, road and bridge fuel, and a tuition subsidy for junior college students.

The tuition subsidy, amounting to $51,000, is designed to support Bonner County residents attending college outside the county. This initiative allows students to establish residency and receive financial assistance of $500 per semester, up to a total of $3,000.
