Initial findings from Philpott Lake revealed fascinating underwater structures, sparking interest in organizing field trips for the community to witness this groundbreaking work firsthand.

In addition to the underwater archaeology project, the museum reported positive trends in visitor engagement through its "Museums for All" program, which has successfully attracted over 1,000 visitors for events like "Bones and Booze." This initiative has accounted for more than 21% of the museum's visitors in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, highlighting the museum's commitment to accessibility and community involvement.

Last year, the foundation provided $7,500 for staff training, which was leveraged to create a total of $11,000 in professional development opportunities.
