Charlottesville launches eBike grant program and invests in climate action initiatives

The program, which offers $251,000 in mini-grants each quarter, allows residents to purchase e-bikes from local shops. City officials noted that while the $1,000 contribution is generous, it may not fully support the lowest-income community members.
