Weber County Commission appoints members to Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments

Weber County officials made significant strides in community planning and development during their recent commission meeting on July 9, 2025. Commissioner Gage Frower highlighted the appointment of new members to the Western Weber Planning Commission and the Board of Adjustments, emphasizing the importance of these voluntary roles in shaping local land use.

Cammy Klontz and Emily Rogers were appointed to the Western Weber Planning Commission, with Klontz receiving a four-year term and Rogers a one-year term. Meanwhile, the Board of Adjustments welcomed Neil Barker, Miranda Espritu, and Louis Decker, with Barker and Espritu taking five-year terms and Decker serving as an alternate member. These boards play a crucial role in addressing public concerns regarding development and land use decisions.

In addition to the appointments, the commission approved new wayfinding signs for the Ogden Valley trail system. These signs aim to enhance navigation for both residents and visitors, helping to alleviate traffic congestion by directing users along designated trails.
