Another significant agenda item was an agreement with the Risk Strategy Group for a physical security assessment of technology facilities, funded by a $50,000 grant from GEMA. The assessment aims to enhance the security of the county's technology infrastructure, with only a $5,000 outlay expected from county funds after reimbursements.

Lastly, the committee addressed a reroofing project for Buildings D and E, which have experienced leaks due to age and hurricane damage. An independent contract agreement with Penn Roofing for $181,700 was proposed to replace the roofs, ensuring the longevity and safety of these essential facilities.
