Commissioners approve order for November 2025 governor election and proposed amendments

The meeting began with Item number 2, which involved considering and taking action on the order of the election for both governor-ordered and county-ordered measure elections. County Clerk Miss Lekky presented the details of a special election that will include 17 proposed constitutional amendments. She noted that there is an ongoing special session that may lead to further amendments, necessitating updates to the election order.
