Glenn Robinson announces new pharmacy and residency program updates in Henderson County

The clinic received a $1 million grant from the Department of State Health Services to support the new location, with plans to apply for an additional $650,000 grant to expand services further, including the establishment of a 340B pharmacy. This pharmacy will allow the clinic to provide medications at reduced rates to underserved patients, significantly improving access to necessary treatments.

The meeting also featured discussions about the residency program, which graduated its second class of residents. The program aims to fill the gap in primary care physician positions in the community, ensuring that the growing demand for healthcare services is met.
