Health System plans new office building and cath lab to boost local care

A primary topic was the recruitment of new physicians, particularly those trained in robotic medicine. Additionally, the hospital announced plans to reinstate its catheterization lab (cath lab) by 2026. Further expansions are planned for the Cedar Creek Lake area, where the emergency department will be upgraded to include 20 unique beds. The facility will also see improvements in radiology and laboratory services to meet increasing demand. An ambulatory surgery center is also in the works to provide surgical services closer to home for residents in Gun Barrel and surrounding communities.

Lastly, the Chandler area is set for expansion of outpatient services, with plans to explore new locations for therapy and other medical services to better serve the community.
