Committee approves DynaMark proposal for justice center camera system upgrade

The Bee County Commissioners Court held a special meeting on July 11, 2025, focusing on community education initiatives and security improvements for local facilities.

During the meeting, a representative expressed gratitude for the support received from community members and law enforcement in addressing various issues. They highlighted ongoing efforts in community education, particularly regarding Adult Protective Services (APS), and offered to assist organizations seeking continuing education credits related to APS training.

The discussion also included a proposal to update and replace the camera system at the Export Justice Center and other precinct buildings. This proposal had been tabled during a previous meeting on June 9, 2025. Deputy Pointer and Mr. Oliver were present to provide insights into the security camera installation and improvement process. The court acknowledged the contributions of Andy, who has been instrumental in managing these security upgrades, and expressed appreciation for Sheriff Agide's support in allowing Andy to take on this additional responsibility.

The meeting concluded with a motion that passed unanimously, indicating strong support for the proposed security enhancements. The court's commitment to improving community safety and education was evident throughout the discussions.
