Willow City Council adopts 2025 strategic priorities following community engagement workshop

Ultimately, a compromise was reached to rephrase the first priority to "develop a strategy to offer a clear methodology for business outreach and support," which was accepted by the council.

The council voted on the amended strategic priorities, which passed unanimously. The next steps involve city staff developing a work plan based on the adopted priorities, ensuring regular progress reviews and maintaining communication with the public regarding these initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a request for the Planning Commission and Library Board to receive a complete copy of the strategic priorities report, ensuring transparency and collaboration across city departments.
