Sky Islands Regional Partnership announces networking event and annual expo in Bisbee

The Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce, now known as The Sky Islands Regional Partnership, is gearing up for an exciting year filled with community events aimed at fostering local business connections and celebrating regional culture. During a recent meeting, Mellie from the partnership highlighted key upcoming events that residents should mark on their calendars.

The first event on the horizon is a networking mixer scheduled for July 18 at 6:00 PM, taking place at the Old Bisbee Brewing Company. This event, organized in collaboration with the Douglas Business Network and the Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona, aims to support Bisbee's local businesses, as the city does not have its own chamber of commerce. Attendees can look forward to an evening of networking, snacks, and a cash bar, all designed to strengthen community ties.

Another significant event is the annual expo, set for August 23 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Mall At Sierra Vista. This expo showcases a wide variety of local vendors, providing a platform for residents to discover and support the businesses that contribute to the local economy. Mellie emphasized the importance of shopping local and the diverse offerings that will be available at the expo.
