School Board reports slight attendance increase and significant drop in discipline incidents

However, officials noted that specific issues, such as fighting and vaping, require targeted interventions. The district plans to work closely with a behavioral planning group to develop strategies that promote positive behavior and engagement among students.

Financial stewardship was another key topic, with the district reporting a substantial reduction in its projected budget deficit from $2.5 million to approximately $300,000. This improvement reflects the district's commitment to responsible financial management and resource allocation.
