The Aldine Independent School District (ISD) Board Meeting held on December 17, 2024, celebrated the achievements of dedicated staff members through its Impact Awards. Nicole Coleman, a second-grade ESL teacher at Austin Elementary, received recognition for her tireless dedication to her students, working throughout the year and during the summer to ensure their success. Her involvement as a band parent further exemplifies her commitment to the community.

John Baxton, who has dedicated 49 years to education, was also honored. His long tenure at Aldine ISD, particularly as a supervisor, has left a significant impact on the district. As he approaches retirement, his legacy of hard work and leadership is celebrated by colleagues and the community.
