Aldine ISD celebrated a significant leadership transition during its August 2024 Board Meeting, promoting Dwayne Mustin from Director of Network Infrastructure Security to Executive Director of Security and AV Services. Mustin, an Aldine ISD graduate, brings over 31 years of experience within the district, showcasing a deep commitment to enhancing technology integration and security.

The board recognized Mustin's extensive contributions, highlighting his leadership skills that have driven positive changes and established high standards within the technology department. His promotion is expected to further improve resources and support for both students and staff, ensuring they have access to the best possible tools for learning and development.

In his acceptance speech, Mustin expressed gratitude to his family for their support, particularly acknowledging his wife, who was unable to attend due to family commitments.
