Brazosport ISD appoints Luthie Cancino as new Chief Financial Officer

Brazosport ISD welcomed a new chief financial officer, Ludie Cancino, during its board meeting on July 14, 2025. Cancino, who brings nearly two decades of financial leadership experience in education, previously served as CFO at Dale Valley ISD and Flower Bluff ISD. Her extensive background includes managing multimillion-dollar budgets and leading successful tax ratification elections, which positions her well to ensure fiscal responsibility within the district.
