BISD outlines funding plans for Title I, IDEA and CTE programs for 2025-26

Additionally, the Perkins V grant, which supports career and technical education (CTE), has a planning amount of $128,952, reflecting an increase aimed at enhancing CTE programs and providing students with essential skills for the workforce.

The meeting also addressed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), with a projected planning amount of $2,591,960 for the upcoming year, aimed at ensuring students with disabilities receive appropriate educational services. The IDEA B preschool funding is set at $74,005 to support early childhood special education.
