Bettendorf Council Reviews Development Plans and Annexation During July Meetings

Under the soft hum of city hall lights, the Bettendorf City Council convened on July 14, 2025, for its Committee of the Whole meeting, a precursor to the following night’s regular session. Community Engagement Manager Angie Sharp opened the meeting, inviting residents to engage with the council's agenda, which was available online.

The evening began with a presentation on a significant consent agenda item: a resolution approving a site development plan for 3469 Middle Road, submitted by 7 Brew Iowa LLC. This development is expected to enhance local business opportunities and was met with keen interest from council members.

The first public hearing addressed the 2025 sidewalk repair program, a crucial initiative aimed at improving pedestrian safety throughout the city.
