Business owner seeks approval for new hookah lounge and beer service in Massachusetts

During a recent city council meeting, the owner outlined his vision for the establishment, which aims to offer a relaxed atmosphere with a limited selection of beers, coffee, and light snacks.

The owner, who has experience running a convenience store and a pizza place in Massachusetts, expressed his commitment to creating a welcoming environment. "We want to have a decent place here," he stated, emphasizing that he plans to invest significantly in renovations to meet safety and aesthetic standards. He has already collaborated with the fire department to ensure proper ventilation and safety measures, including the installation of smoke eaters and heat detectors.

Operating hours for the lounge are proposed to be from noon to 10:30 PM on weekdays and until midnight on weekends, with plans for live entertainment featuring solo performances.
