Grama Charity Classic showcases top seed Horovitz and Zink in dominant semifinal performance

The eleventh annual Groft Charity Classic kicked off its semifinals and finals on July 13, 2024, at the Country Club of York, showcasing high-level tennis while raising funds for the York Opioid Collaborative. This charity event aims to combat the ongoing opioid crisis affecting the community, highlighting the importance of sports in addressing social issues.

The tournament featured 12 teams, with all four top seeds advancing to the semifinals. The first match showcased the number one seeds, Roy Horovitz and Lindsay Zink, against the fourth seeds, Eustace Trenauskas and Steffi Yakov. Horovitz, a rising junior at the University of Virginia, and Zink, a senior at the University of North Carolina, demonstrated exceptional skills, with Horovitz noted for his speed and powerful serve.
