Mark Farms plans major drainage tile replacement in Section 8

A significant infrastructure upgrade is on the horizon for Humboldt County, Iowa, as the Board of Supervisors discusses plans to replace a century-old clay tile drainage system. The original tile, located in the Northwest quarter of Section 8, has deteriorated over time, leading to frequent repairs and inefficiencies in water management.

Mark Fair, representing Archer Farms, is advocating for the replacement of this aging system. The proposal includes removing the old clay tile and installing a new drainage tile that can be placed deeper, utilizing a relief main installed in 1948.
