Florence City Council advances housing and zoning initiatives for community development

The City of Florence is taking significant steps to revitalize its community by addressing abandoned and blighted properties, which have been linked to crime and homelessness. During a recent city council meeting, officials discussed plans to purchase and relinquish these properties, aiming to foster community development and improve safety.
