Lake Forest residents can look forward to a new Costco warehouse store coming to Foothill Ranch, as announced by Mayor Scott Boyds during the recent Mayor's Minute update. The new store will be built on the site of the former Cinemark Regal Cinema, which will be demolished to make way for the project.
The planned Costco will feature a tire center and a food court, although it will not include a gas station in its current design. Mayor Boyds expressed gratitude to Costco for selecting Lake Forest, highlighting the positive economic impact this development is expected to bring to the community.
In addition to the Costco announcement, Mayor Boyds encouraged residents to participate in the upcoming 30th annual Fourth of July parade, which will take place starting at El Toro High School. The parade will proceed along Lake Forest Drive and conclude at the back parking lot of El Toro. Residents are urged to check social media for details on the parade start time and other summer events, including a concert series in the park.
This new Costco development marks a significant step in enhancing local commerce and community engagement in Lake Forest, promising to bring both economic benefits and festive activities for residents to enjoy this summer.
