Kenosha Emergency Management Enhances Operations with New Training and Communication Tools

In a recent meeting of the Kenosha County Committee of the Whole, significant advancements in emergency management were discussed, highlighting the county's commitment to enhancing public safety and preparedness. Residents are encouraged to sign up for alerts via phone or text to stay informed during emergencies.

A new software platform, ReadyOp, has also been introduced to facilitate internal communications and coordination among municipal leadership. This robust tool is designed for efficient planning and response during emergencies and is already in use by various organizations, including the NFL and NASCAR.

During the meeting, there was a call for more transparency regarding the EOC's utilization and training exercises. Supervisors expressed interest in being kept informed about the schedule for these practices, emphasizing the importance of preparedness in the community.
