Orange County Parks Hosts Free Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema Events

As the warm summer sun begins to set over Laguna Woods, the city is gearing up for a vibrant month of music and cinema. The Laguna Woods City Council recently announced an exciting lineup for their Summer Concert Series, set to take place throughout August. Residents and visitors can look forward to free concerts every Thursday evening from 5 to 8 PM, with live music kicking off at 6 PM.

The series will feature a variety of bands, creating a lively atmosphere for community members to enjoy. Concerts are scheduled for August 7 at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, August 14 at Salt Creek in Dana Point, and August 21, also at Salt Creek. In addition to the concerts, the city is introducing a Sunset Cinema series, offering free movie screenings at various parks. These events will also start at 6 PM, with free parking available after 5 PM.

Movie lovers can catch "Twister" on August 1 and "The Greatest Showman" on August 8, both at Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Following those, "Elemental" will be screened on August 15 at Irvine Regional Park, and another film will be shown on August 22 at the same location.
