School Board Honors Retiring Educators with Resolutions and Public Acknowledgments

The St. Tammany Parish Public School Board held a significant meeting on July 17, 2025, where they celebrated the contributions of several retiring educators and staff members. The board unanimously passed resolutions honoring the dedicated service of multiple employees, marking the end of an era for many in the community.

Among those recognized was Donald C. Dupree from Alton Elementary, who served for over 20 years, and Corinne C. Blanchard from the central office, who dedicated nearly 34 years to the district. Other notable retirees included Deborah P. Guerrero and Virginia V. Traig, both of whom have made substantial contributions to their respective schools.
