Santa Cruz Health Services to Offer Birth Certificates Starting July 1

Santa Cruz County, Arizona, is set to enhance its public health communication efforts, as Health & Human Services Deputy Director Jose Ariola announced significant strides in community engagement during a recent government meeting. The county's health services Instagram page has seen an impressive 60,000 visits in the past month, showcasing the effectiveness of social media in disseminating vital health information.

Ariola emphasized the importance of utilizing digital platforms to combat misinformation, particularly regarding vaccines. He noted that despite the challenges posed by false narratives surrounding COVID-19 vaccinations, it is crucial to communicate the scientific backing and effectiveness of vaccines to the public. In addition to vaccination efforts, Ariola highlighted a new littering campaign aimed at promoting community cleanliness and safety.
