Stormwater Management Approves $480K Amendment for Willow Creek Watershed Cleanup

The Lorain County Commissioners took a significant step towards improving local stormwater management during their recent meeting on July 18, 2025. They approved a second amendment to a consulting services agreement with Kate McCartney and Associates Inc., allocating $480,000 for essential work on the Willow Creek Watershed. The total contract amount for this project will not exceed $1,279,710. The funding will come from the stormwater professional service account and is expected to be reimbursed through future eligible Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funding within the watershed.
