Hampton Academy Choir Earns Gold at State Competition and Plans Upcoming Events

In the heart of Hampton Academy, excitement buzzed through the air as students and faculty celebrated recent achievements and looked forward to upcoming events. The Voices Unlimited choir shone brightly at the state competition, earning gold ratings and placing among just three schools in Maine to achieve this honor. A special mention was made for Abby Scott, who received a Musicianship Award for her solo performance, highlighting the talent nurtured within the school’s music program.

The recent choir concert and a successful band concert on April 8 showcased the dedication and progress of the students, providing a platform for their hard work to be recognized. In addition to the arts and academics, the spring sports season is in full swing, with teams competing in preseason exhibition contests. A faculty versus seniors basketball game recently brought the community together, complete with concessions, fostering school spirit and camaraderie.
