Hammond Redevelopment Commission Approves $20K Agreement with Spec MC for Downtown Project

The proposed fee for Speck's services is set at $20,000, structured as an hourly rate contract. Following Button's presentation, Commissioner Shelton made a motion to approve the agreement, which was seconded by Commissioner Tomich. The motion passed unanimously with a 5-0 vote.

The meeting continued with a discussion on a proposal for SAW characterization for management planning at the former Memorial Park site located at 1301 Highland Street. Button noted that the commission had previously approved a prime agreement with Enviroforensics and was now considering a second supplemental agreement for their services.
