The chair said the personnel committee was modeled on the county commissioners' committee-on-committees process and that committee membership can vary; she told the group that a committee established as \"3 to 5\" members may operate with fewer members when vacancies occur. The chair also said she had reached out to applicants she believed the committee might move forward with and that other board members had received candidate materials earlier in July.

A board member, identified in the transcript as Angela, recommended that members who had not yet contacted candidates should review application materials and make outreach calls before the next meeting.
