Councilman JC Fredens suggested that engaging HOAs could enhance community vigilance and safety. However, members recognized the challenges in mandating participation from HOAs, as the town has limited authority over these organizations. The committee agreed to gather more information on successful crime watch initiatives in other areas and to discuss potential strategies at future meetings.
