She said Howard Companies previously performed similar work for the city and \"were very responsive and thorough and did a really good job,\" adding that the firm finished work on time and on budget.

A board member asked for a street list; staff said they would provide that list to board members. The board moved and seconded the motion to approve the bid proposal; the motion carried on a voice vote. The board chair announced the contract may be signed following the vote.

The contract award is the meeting's largest spending action. The city did not provide a detailed construction schedule in the discussion recorded in the meeting.
