River Beach Planning Commission Reviews Sedzer Property Mixed-Use Development Proposal

The Planning & Zoning Board of Riviera Beach convened on July 24, 2025, to discuss a significant development project located at the southwest corner of US 1 and Broadway. The proposed site, currently vacant, is set to feature a mixed-use development comprising four towers, with two standing at approximately 20 stories and the other two at 13 stories.

The project aims to enhance the area with 508 market-rate condominium units, alongside commercial, retail, and restaurant spaces. The design includes a comprehensive landscape plan that meets the city’s requirement for 70% native vegetation, with plans to increase the number of trees and shrubs to comply with this standard.
