Ketchikan School Board Reports Staffing Challenges and Financial Outlook for FY 25

He reported a preliminary surplus of approximately $600,000 but cautioned that final figures would not be available until October due to pending self-insurance adjustments. Schueller also noted a positive outcome for the self-insurance fund, which finished the year with nearly $1 million in surplus.
