Barry County Road Commission Highlights Chip Seal Benefits and Upcoming Projects

In a recent meeting of the Barry County Board of Commissioners, significant discussions centered around the county's road maintenance strategies and upcoming projects. The meeting highlighted the importance of chip sealing, a method used to prolong the life of roads, despite mixed feelings from some officials about its effectiveness.

The road commission's representative emphasized the unique advantage Barry County has in maintaining detailed historical records of every paved road segment.
