West Oso ISD Introduces Strict Cell Phone Policy for 2025-26 School Year

West Oso Independent School District is set to implement a new cell phone policy for the 2025-2026 school year, following extensive research and discussions among board members. The policy, aligned with Texas House Bill 1481, prohibits students from using personal communication devices during school hours, requiring them to store such devices in their backpacks or pockets until the end of the day.
