Sandridge Food Corporation Launches Partnership With Folds of Honor for Veterans Support

The City Council of Medina recently hosted a meeting to discuss an upcoming First Responder Lunch, sponsored by Sandridge Food Corporation in partnership with Folds of Honor. This event aims to honor local military veterans and first responders, highlighting the community's commitment to supporting those who serve.

Sandridge Food Corporation, a long-standing member of the Medina community, has collaborated with Folds of Honor, an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled military personnel and first responders. Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 62,000 scholarships, totaling approximately $290 million, to help ease the financial burden on families who have lost their primary earners.

During the meeting, representatives from Sandridge emphasized their dedication to giving back to the community, noting that 13% of profits from their new Simply Crafted product line—featuring soups and proteins—will be donated to Folds of Honor. This initiative not only supports the organization but also celebrates the contributions of first responders in Medina.

The partnership between Sandridge and Folds of Honor reflects a broader commitment to community welfare, with Sandridge's leadership expressing gratitude for the support they have received from Medina over the past 60 years.
