The event also included a musical performance, with a QR code available for attendees to request songs, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.

As the parade commenced, O'Connell encouraged the crowd to cheer for the marchers, emphasizing community pride. Following the parade, awards were presented in various categories, recognizing participants for their decorations and creativity. Notable winners included Casey M. in the under-5 division, Waylon M. in the 6-8 division, and Gabriel S. in the 9-12 division. The overall winner, Ally, was celebrated for her outstanding contribution.
