Adams County Board Plans Health Services Building Amid Courthouse Project Delays

The Adams County Administrative & Finance Committee convened on August 5, 2025, to discuss several key projects and funding updates impacting the county's operations and infrastructure.

A significant topic was the Phase 2 building project, which has faced delays due to staff turnover at MSA, the project management firm. The bid process for this project has been postponed until September. The committee also noted that the property and recreation committee would meet later in August to provide updates on the project's progress.

In infrastructure developments, the highway department reported the completion of several seal coating projects, including updates on County Highway Z and the White Creek Bridal. Additionally, preparations are underway at the waste site to manage spoil materials effectively.

The committee discussed an increase in court support funding, amounting to $10 million, although the exact allocation for Adams County remains uncertain.
