Lorenzo Puzaro Elected Chair of Plymouth Board of Health

Plymouth's Board of Health has officially appointed Lorenzo Puzaro as its new chair following a unanimous vote during their recent meeting. The reorganization, which occurs annually in June, also saw Dr. Terry Reid elected as vice chair, ensuring strong leadership for the board moving forward.

The meeting began with a brief technical issue as some participants struggled to connect via the correct Zoom link. However, once resolved, the board quickly transitioned to important agenda items, including the reappointment of Puzaro, who expressed gratitude for the support of his fellow board members and acknowledged the hard work of previous leaders.

In addition to the leadership changes, the board discussed the recruitment of a public health nurse, noting that they received eleven applications, although only one had formally applied through the town's process. This highlights the ongoing efforts to strengthen public health resources in Plymouth.
