During the Planning Commission Meeting on August 7, representatives from the company detailed plans to increase employment from approximately 150 to between 250 and 275 employees across three shifts. The company is committed to hiring local contractors and sourcing equipment from within Utah whenever possible. They have also applied for state and city support to facilitate this investment, which they believe will benefit both the business and the community at large.

Key discussions during the meeting included the layout of the new facility, which will feature two entrances and additional parking to accommodate the increased workforce. The facility will consist of around 100,000 square feet of ambient space and 16,000 square feet dedicated to cold storage, essential for maintaining ingredients like butter and frozen fruits used in their products.

Concerns were raised about customer parking for a potential scratch-and-dent store, which the company representatives acknowledged and promised to consider in future plans.
