New Facility Plans $40M Investment Adding 130 Jobs and Traffic Improvements

The Pleasant View Planning Commission meeting on August 7, 2025, focused on a significant development project that is expected to create approximately 130 new jobs. Additionally, the facility will rely on existing utilities from Rulon for electricity, stormwater management, and natural gas, while sewer and process waste will continue to be directed back to State Route 2700. Pacific Corp, the parent company of Rocky Mountain Power, is conducting an impact study to ensure adequate power supply for the new facility.
