Tamworth Recreation Director Phillips unveils summer program highlights and upcoming initiatives

A pickleball tournament is planned for September 13, aiming to foster inter-town competition.

Additionally, Phillips discussed plans for a new half-mile trail around the recreation field, which is set to be developed with community input. This initiative is intended to enhance outdoor activities such as walking and biking.

The meeting transitioned to discussions led by Tom Verkacs regarding tax deed properties. A motion was made to approve the 2025 deed waivers for a specific property, indicating ongoing efforts to manage local real estate and tax issues.
