School Board Welcomes New Members and Schedules Upcoming Committee Meetings

The P-CCS Board of Education held its regular meeting on August 12, 2025, where several key updates and future plans were discussed that will impact the local school community.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the announcement from the Student Performance and Achievement (SPA) committee. Secretary Westra noted that the committee has not met since the last board meeting but will resume meetings once the school year begins. The committee welcomed back Anupam Chugsadu as a returning member and introduced Jennifer Voss as a new member, indicating a commitment to enhancing student performance and achievement.

In terms of policy updates, it was shared that the policy committee has not met recently but has scheduled a special meeting for August 26. This meeting will start earlier than usual at 4:30 PM to allow for more in-depth discussions on various policies. The board emphasized the importance of sharing agendas with all members to ensure transparency and collaboration.

The Finance and Operations committee, led by Treasurer Kehoe, also reported that it has not met since the last board meeting, marking a rare occurrence. However, the committee has already set an agenda for its upcoming meeting on August 21 at 5 PM, inviting community members to participate and engage in discussions about the district's financial operations.
