West Milford High School Announces Upcoming Events Including Honor Society Inductions and Pickleball Tournament

West Milford Township Public Schools is gearing up for an exciting series of events that promise to engage students and the community alike. The school day on May 28 will have an early dismissal, allowing students to participate in a fun-filled event featuring games, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a variety of delicious foods. The festivities will kick off at 12:20 PM and run until 2 PM, with attendees encouraged to bring money for activities.

On the same day, the English Honor Society will hold an induction ceremony for new members in the high school auditorium, celebrating their achievements in literature. The following day, May 29, the National Honor Society will host a pickleball tournament at 5 PM in the high school gym, with all proceeds supporting head custodian Damian Fitzpatrick's daughter in her battle against cancer. Looking ahead, the guidance department will host a community scholarship night on June 4 at 7 PM, honoring graduating seniors and the generous local organizations that provide scholarships. A total of $97,500 in scholarships is set to be awarded, highlighting the community's commitment to supporting education.
