The Holmdel Township School District celebrated academic excellence during its recent Board of Education meeting on October 30, 2024. The event highlighted the achievements of students across various grade levels who received perfect scores on the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) and SATs, showcasing the district's commitment to academic rigor and student success.

The ceremony began with recognition of seventh and eighth graders who achieved perfect scores in English Language Arts and mathematics. Principal Simonelli and Assistant Principal Gianakis commended the students for their hard work and dedication, emphasizing that these accomplishments are just the beginning of their academic journeys. The eighth-grade recipients included notable names such as Andrew Chen and Zoya Thomas, who were met with applause from the audience.

Ninth graders Maeve Clarity and Soomin Jang, along with tenth graders Amelia Hernando and Boston Hua, were recognized for their perfect NJSLA scores. The senior class was celebrated for their achievements in science, with students like Rebecca Chang and Nicholas Clifford receiving accolades for their perfect scores.
