This prestigious honor, awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, signifies the highest level of professional accomplishment in the field.

Since joining the town in October 2008, Peters Garcia has worked diligently alongside various mayors, council members, and town managers, showcasing her expertise and commitment to the community. The MMC designation is not easily attained; it requires extensive education, professional development, and active community involvement. Currently, only 53 out of 397 municipal clerks in Colorado hold this distinguished status.
